Studio sessions
With An Engineer. Every Tuesday
On Tuesdays, we open our studio space to those who participate in any one of our termly music programmes. We believe everyone should have access to a professional space for their creative endeavours. As such, we offer these studio sessions with an engineer free of charge to young people or at a reduced rate to adults. We also make our studio available to members of the wider public at reasonable rates. To hire the studio outside of our Tuesday sessions, please visit our Hire Page.
At Raw Material, we prioritise privacy and respect for artists' work. That's why we're devoted to keeping their tracks safe and secure. After every recording session, no tracks will be saved on our studio premises beyond the day of recording. This ensures that artists retain full control and ownership of their music.
Please note that these recording sessions are specifically designed for artists to record over pre-produced music. While our team is always eager to assist with production, we kindly request that artists refrain from additional production during these sessions. Our goal is to provide a focused and streamlined recording experience, allowing artists to focus their energy on creating captivating music.
A reduced rate is available to Lambeth residents, students, and low income persons.

Booking times are subject to availability.
A referral is required for studio sessions. Please make sure you have completed the referral form prior to booking a session.

Raw Material stipulates that artists are solely and entirely responsible for the management of their project files, including all associated data, lyrics, and content. To prioritise user privacy and system security, studio files are routinely cleared from our systems.
By booking a session, clients and users acknowledge and agree that Raw Material accepts no liability for any loss of files or content left on our systems.
Furthermore, Raw Material is not responsible for the use or performance of any third-party plugins brought in by a producer or engineer during a session.
Any external arrangements or agreements made between clients and artists/producers are the sole responsibility of the parties involved.
Cancellation Policy / Terms & Conditions
To cancel a studio session, a minimum notice of 48 hours is required. If a cancellation occurs less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled session, Raw Material will retain the session fee, and no refunds will be processed.
We encourage that all bookings must be made online through our website.
Please note that you can only book 2 sessions in advance. You are not able to book more than 2 sessions so that other artists and creatives can also access to the space.
Raw Material emphasises that artists are solely responsible for their project files, including lyrics and content. Our studio files are wiped clean to prioritise privacy and security. By booking a session, clients acknowledge and agree that Raw Material does not take responsibility for their files or content, any loss of files left on the system, and any 3rd-party plugins used by the producer or studio engineer during the session. Any arrangements or agreements made outside of Raw Material Studio are the sole responsibility of the client.
