Sound Engineering Course Design Lead

Raw Material is in the process of developing a new exciting offer for 2026 - our first Sound Engineering Course for young people aged 16-30, in 2026. The course will give participants a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of studio and live sound engineering. Through a combination of theoretical and practical instruction, participants will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to record and engineer audio in a range of settings.

At this stage, we are looking for an experienced creative practitioner to take on the role of Design Lead - consulting on and leading the design of the course. This will include the content, structure, accreditation approach, and potential progression routes, as detailed below. We’re looking for an experienced facilitator and recording engineer to develop the programme, with the view to stepping into the role of Course Leader on the programme from 2026.
