What To Remember As A Young Creative

For many young people, the pressures of the modern world are felt particularly strongly, which can make it really challenging to maintain a healthy and creative life. We want to encourage everyone to have the right mindset when it comes to being an artist. At its core, this is a mindset of self-acceptance. In a world where people seem to care only about your output as a creative, it can feel like a radical choice to prioritise your self, your health and your process above all else.

Through Raw’s Young Creatives programme, our many young people from Brixton and further afield have discovered the incredible joy and support that comes from being creative and connecting with others. There are always opportunities for young people, and older to get involved. We encourage everyone to browse what opportunities we have in store for young creatives, and reach out to us if you'd like to connect!
