Nurturing Raw talent, catalysing creative development, and supporting mental health through industry-standard music and media pathways…

Raw Material Music and Media is a community music and creative arts centre, based in Brixton, and dedicated to supporting the creative and personal development of our South London community. Our purpose-built, 3-storey building houses recording studios, a digital audio production suite, DJ and video equipment and a live room for performance, workshops and ensemble work. All of this we make available to our community through two distinct strands of programming.

Young Creatives

Opportunities for young people under the age of 30 to explore, enhance, and expand their creative skills.

Our spaces are thoughtfully designed to nurture raw talent and foster creative growth while supporting mental wellbeing. We warmly invite individuals, artists, and organisations to hire our studios and equipment, providing an inspiring environment to create, collaborate, and develop within South London’s vibrant creative community. Whether for recording, production, live events, or co-working our spaces are available through our tailored programming strands to meet diverse creative needs.
