Raw Material is offering young people aged between 15 and 21 a universal career development programme this summer. Accepted participants will work across all aspects of our organisation: from marketing to graphic design, facilitation to sound engineering, resume building to arts administration.

Programme Breakdown

  • Social Media / Marketing

    Learn the essentials of digital marketing and how to use social media platforms to promote brands, events, or creative work. You'll explore content strategy, campaign planning, audience engagement, and analytics. This module equips you with the tools to tell compelling stories and build an online presence that stands out.

  • Content Capturing / Graphic Design

    Get hands-on experience in visual storytelling through photography, video, and design. Learn how to capture engaging content and use design tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator to create professional-looking visuals. Ideal for aspiring content creators or anyone looking to improve their digital communication skills.

  • Creative Facilitation

    Discover how to lead, inspire, and support creative activities for groups. This module focuses on inclusive practice, group dynamics, session planning, and how to create safe, engaging spaces for collaboration. Perfect for those interested in teaching, youth work, or community arts.

  • Facilities Operations

    Tech Support, Resource Management

  • Arts Organisation Administration

    Operations / Finance / Business
