Enter The World Of Creative Facilitation

Are you a young Music Producer, Vocalist, DJ, MC, Instrumentalist, Studio Engineer or Creative?

Have you ever considered supporting others community in learning these skills for themselves?

We are delighted to offer a refreshed opportunity to young people interested in developing their skills in leading workshops. In this 8 week course, you will learn the basics in facilitation, giving you the tools and confidence you need to lead sessions yourself.

Working with award-winning artist and facilitator Gawain Hewitt, you will gain the foundations upon which you can build your own practice and style. 

Over the 8-week programme, you will: 

  • Develop an understanding of the role and skills of a facilitator, as well as the key principles of effective facilitation 

  • Learn core workshop leading skills including a variety of facilitation techniques and tools, and how to design engaging sessions

  • Have space and support to practise leading your own sessions 

  • Discuss what leadership is, what it means and what it is for 

  • Gain invaluable skills that can lead to a fulfilling and fruitful creative career and practice

Throughout the course you will also discuss the history and background of workshop leading and the opportunities it can give for you and those participating, the type of communities you can work with, and ethical considerations. 

Participants will receive an honorarium fee of £40 for attending each session.
