An Industry-Standard Mentoring Programme in Creative Production

VEVO is the world’s largest All-premium music video provider. 
They work directly with artist to find unique ways to bring their music to life. 
The organisation connects artists with their audience globally via music videos and original content. 

These placements will be within the content and programming team at Vevo - and this team is split into 4 departments.

  • Music and Talent

    This team is responsible for working with labels, managers and artists at every level and from every genre. They lead conversations around onboarding artists to the platform and continue to work closely with artists and their teams as they release new videos. Alongside this, the team book artists for Original Content capture and editorial campaigns. This team will regularly attend industry events and showcases, to ensure that Vevo is working with the right artists, at the right time.

  • Editorial

    This team is responsible for promoting the artists that partner with Vevo across our network, through programming, editorial campaigns and social media activity. This team will curate and programme playlists based on themes, genres or cultural events, alongside creating ideas for editorial and social campaigns. The editorial team lead our cultural campaign activity around things like Pride, Black History Month etc

  • Production

    Most of Vevo's original content is shot at its Hackney Wick production studio. Vevo has several formats like ctrl and dscvr and this team shoots with artists from every genre and level. This team is responsible for concepting, capturing and editing our original content, working with artists from across Europe to create stand out content campaigns.

  • Design

    The design team are responsible for creating all of Vevo’s design assets for our network - such as branding for our original content and promotional assets for social media and our Connected Television Channels. The design team are responsible for creating bespoke ideas for our cultural campaigns like Pride etc
