Over the years, Raw Material has supported thousands of people in their creative and personal development. This collection of photos, along with an exhibition held in July 2023, is the product of a photography project titled People of Raw. The project sought to recognise and celebrate our charity’s collective identity - one made up of all of the uniquely talented and creative individuals who pass through our doors every day.

Taken over a single week, the photographs show just some 30 members of our community, team and Board who agreed to have their portrait taken and to provide some words of their choice. What we hope comes across is the amazing diversity of this group of people - the fact that we all see in Raw something different, but perhaps also something fundamentally the same.
